Enjoyed this circuit walk around the lake with our dog today. Lots of people walking and running, many with friendly dogs. Friendly people too! Couldn't see the lake for a fair bit of the walk but we really enjoyed the easy stroll.

We were delighted to be directed to this bird reserve by Visitors Info. to find there have been Numbats and turtles here as well. We loved it and the birds were magnificent. But ..... amazed that dogs are permitted including so many off lead. It just seems the wrong location to permit dog walking.
