Description
POI: Caraban Canoe and Kayak hire on the Moore River.
One hour drive north of Perth at the termination of Barragoon Road on the Moore River. Enter from Caraban Road off Indian Ocean Drive or King Drive Woodridge via Link Road onto Barragoon Road.
Barbecue facilities and toilets on-site.

What a wonderful place! Gorgeous area right by the river, bird watch, feed the fish or canoe out to the sand dunes and the beach :) You can become part of the Caraban Social Club and then all good for camp or camper trailer, but only 1 caravan/RV allowed so best to call ahead :) Stan the host is lovely So glad we stopped here my favourite place so far

Stan was very welcoming and the offer of amenities after hiring his canoes are a bonus. There are facilities for a BBQ and the shade on the river bank is a relaxing way to spend the day. Definitely a place to visit often as it's such a short drive from Perth.
