Description

A scenic, secluded bay nestled between sea-swept rocky headlands. Hellfire Bay is one of the most beautiful bays in Cape Le Grand National Park and a great spot to enjoy a picnic or a refreshing dip in calm conditions. The bay is thought to have been named after St Elmo's fire a bluish flame-like electrical discharge that sometimes occurs above ship's masts. Facilities include toilets, barbecues and a large picnic shelter with several tables. You can get to this site by two-wheel drive. Pets are not permitted. No camping or overnight parking.
