Description

Hikers hut and stockyard with parking area, located on the Heysen Trail in Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park. There are no fees and no bookings. Available first come, first served. Facilities 300m from carpark/road and include basic hut, water, fireplace, and a multi-purpose camping platform. Yanyanna hut and stockyards was the central point in the Aroona pastoral run and is now the site of a ruined pug and pine shepherd's hut from the 1850's and a still standing iron shelter from 1937. Pets are not permitted.
