2 nights powered. Large shaded site. Expensive for me (as single traveler) but kept our 4 site group together, very friendly, live music by the pool and great location on the lake. Sunset by the lake is lovely. They do have freshies. It's not a swimming lake but very picturesque. Plenty of showers and toilets so never had to wait. Good hot water and pressure. Code to get through the gate but people can walk in, however had no dramas and felt safe. Note on booze - the Celebrations (which is what google calls it but I think the sign says something different. Basically not the Thirty Camel one) has unlimited for tourists as they have an exemption form. Good for those about to head to Gibb. Just ask.

Just had 7 nights here. What a beautiful park. Highly recommend staying here. Lovely staff at reception. Felt very safe. They text every day to remind everyone to secure everything outside and lock up. Did not see or hear about any thefts during our stay. Beautiful outlook sitting in the grassed area looking out at the water. Even saw the freshie croc sun baking on the waters edge. Kununurra has been getting a bad report recently about the crime but we loved this town and what it offers for things to do in East Kimberley. Don't miss stopping here and enjoying the area.

We loved our time here. The reception people were so friendly and helpful, and we were even given a mud map and a list of places to see in town - so useful! The sites were good, and the facilities were clean and functional. I think they need some more washing machines but that's just a time thing. We will be back!Live music was a bonus!
