Guilderton Caravan Park provides an almost undiscovered getaway less than 100km from Perth. Situated at the mouth of the Moore River, and just metres from one of the most peaceful stretches of the Western Australian coastline, Guilderton is the ideal retreat for visitors of all ages. Guilderton Caravan Park boasts spacious, shaded camping bays (bays 10-57 with hardstands) and 10 self contained chalets. Ablutions (new in 2004) have been upgraded, and a new BBQ area and fully enclosed campers kitchen are now complete. You'll also notice a fresh, outgoing attitude towards maximizing your holiday and accommodating your needs wherever possible. Guilderton's gorgeous beaches are perfect for swimming, fishing and surfing, whilst the Moore River provides cruises, canoeing, fishing and a safe swimming spot for the kids.

We stumbled on this place and we're very happy with it. I don't know about a recent change of management, but Dan, who checked us in (not booked), was very welcoming. The park is almost empty, even though it's school holidays. The amenities are clean. Yes, the sites are in varying conditions, many hollowed out and old slabs that are not quite wide enough for awning and van. We were able to choose our site on the water front. It JUST fit our 22 ft van. All in all for us, the negatives are outweighed by the beautiful relaxed location.

We arrived to make a booking for later in the week. The new managers who started 4 weeks ago were lovely, accommodating and very helpful. The past BAD reviews DO NOT APPLY ANYMORE. I am definitely looking forward to our stay.

Tried booking online without success then tired to ring, again no luck. Arrived at the park on a Thursday and there 3 vam on-site went to the office only to stand around waiting for what we assumed was the park manager to finish his call, which appeared to be a personal one.. He eventually acknowledged our presence by nodding his head head, without finishing his call , we asked if we could have a site for one night, his abrupt response was No walk ins Minimum 2 night Then turned his back and continued his call Never met such an arrogant, abrupt and rude person in my life We left extremely disappointed as the place recommended to us Left in utter disgust
