Coxall Road, Munglinup, Western Australia
Description
NO FIRES permitted or locals will close it down.
The short track in from Coxall rd is fairly firm but rutted I would not recommend it for 2wd vehicles unless they have high clearance.
Sand can be quite boggy at the Northern end so its 4wd access only.
There are around 6 camp spots, most are on even ground.
Be sure to take your insect spray and mozzie coils as mozzies start to come out in the evening's.
Fishing is quite reasonable here with Bream up to 40cm in the land locked section of the river, so bring a kayak and your light fishing outfit.
This hidden free campground also offers swimming and It is dog friendly.
It is accessible to camper trailers, off road caravans and four wheel drives.
Camping in tents is allowed.
Remember take your rubbish with you.

What a hidden gem! Such a beautiful spot by the River and we had it all to ourselves. We got out 17ft offroad caravan in without any dramas. There is one tight turn between 2 trees just before the t-intersection you'll need to watch for if you are towing but otherwise any 4x4 should take it on fine. We went right at the T and had no issues with soft spots. Beautiful spot for a kyak.

Found this hidden spot! You really gotta keep your eyes open for this turnoff. Quite a narrow but short track in. If you value your car paint, don't go into here. Left of the T junction has soft sand but spacious campsites. Watch out for the big hole at the turning circle. Right of the T junction has some sites there. Water is relaxing but salty and muddy, take care when going in. I was the only one here.

Track has now been cleaned up so any standard sized 4wd will make it through without touching the sides, the track is now almost accessible for non towing high clearance two wheel drive vehicle's (Campervans) camping at the Southern end "ONLY", a big cleanup was also done (how hard is it to bury your loo paper and take your rubbish with you). Good winter Bream are being caught up to 40cm in fair numbers at the moment. Gravel road from Hwy just graded Monday 1st August 2022 ππ¦πΊππ¦πΊπ
