What an amazing place to stay. After a few nights out at the northern part of the island on stunning beaches and bays it was great to return to Saltys for some simple pleasures - flush toilets, showers, camp kitchen, cafe for morning coffee and bar for evening gatherings. Beautiful bay views, swimming snorkelling and sea kayaks for use. We managed to tuck our camp out of the wind. The staff are sensational. Still basic and raw camping but the owners have created a special place with a fantastic vibe.

WOW what an amazing place the Island is. We visited EVERY lookout, beach, cliff, POI there was. Loved the wildlife (whale sharks/loggerheads nesting etc) and loved the history (Dampier, Hartog, the Wardle family etc) Beautiful family running the barge and lodge Helpful, friendly, clean Free use of kayaks/SUP to explore in front of the homestead Delicious DHI Gin Camp host was also helpful, friendly and fun to talk to Can not recommend this place highly enough THANK YOU
