So much to say about this visit - our second to Giralia - that it doesn't fit in one review Most importantly - THANK YOU for opening your property to campers. We really appreciate being able to experience real off-grid camping, away from artificial light and not being packed in like sardines. Thank you and all the very best to you!

Just had 4 beautiful days/nights at Sir Harry's site on Giralia. This site is the last spot at the eastern end of the beach. The nearest site is about 100m west. We have a hilux towing an offroad trailer & had no issues at all. There were mostly large caravans on other sites along the beach. There are some softer spots, but the sand here isn't challenging. Best fishing was in the mangroves this trip - we caught whiting & flathead. Saw a big cod, shovel nose sharks, crabs & turtles galore! Definitely recommend checking the mangroves out on a breezy day (it keeps the sandflies away) there is so much life there! As for Harry's campsite - we had pelicans come to shore daily, lots of crabs & starfish to see at low tide & some dolphins even swam by!

Is anyone up at Giralia at the moment and can give feedback on the midgie/sandfly situation? We are due to visit next week
