Description

Point Leo has over 168 camping sites, of which 45 are powered. All sites are open during summer for camping. During winter (midweek) camping is contained to the powered sites and the east creek foreshore area. Sites are suitable for tents, camper trailers, motorhomes, caravans and big rigs. Facilities include toilets, hot showers, dump point, laundry, kitchen facilities, free bbqs and various playground areas. A general store and surf shop is also located at the entrance to the reserve. When you arrive please come to the office to check in. If the office is unattended there is a mobile number on the office door. You will need to check in with a Ranger before you set up camp. The Ranger can be contacted by email info@pointleo.com ,or on the weekends in the office on 5989 8333 . Overnight camping is strictly prohibited at all times in the playground areas and in vehicles. CAMPFIRES: are not permitted anywhere within the reserve. DOGS: are not allowed in the camping areas. We request that campers make every effort to arrive between 1 PM and before 8 pm From November to March, and before 6.30 pm from April to November. The Foreshore has a strict policy that no one is to be setting up after dark without first speaking with a Ranger. If you think that you will be later than these times please call us on the day of arrival to discuss a later check in. Bookings are to be made online and are required for all campsites. If you arrive without a booking, we may not be able to accommodate you.
