Very disappointing. We stayed at ELW and did the Emma Gorge walk. Came back to order some lunch and our two young kids were so hot and we asked if we could let them have a swim in their pool. Their answer was no as we were not guests. Happy to take as much money off us as they can but wouldn't let our kids have a quick 10min cool off.

The resort looks gorgeous and nice swim in the river next to it. Walked the Amalia gorge walk to the first waterhole. Had a swim all by ourselves. Not certain how to walk further to the falls etc but happy with that. Very rocky riverbed to walk ..

The tents are brilliant, comfortable and well appointed and all are complete with an ensuite. The staff we dealt with were excellent and couldn't do enough to help us. We couldn't fault them. I am not sure about what User 2032234 was on about gates closing at 12:00pm. I didn't see any gates when we came in but Zebedee Springs does close at midday...I think that they must have become a bit confused. The walk to the Gorge was difficult at times but not that difficult that you had to give up. The end result of the waterfall and swimming hole was well worth the effort. Its a great place to stay although pricing is up there. We have really enjoyed our 1 night stay here but its a once off as the wallet really takes a hit for accommodation + food + drinks.
