Description

This roadside rest area is located on the Great Northern Highway beside the Ord River and is accessible to vehicles travelling in both directions. Facilities at this rest area include: Toilets, picnic tables, rubbish bins, and a dump point. This is a designated 24 hour rest area. 24-hour rest areas are not intended for camping. They are great places to take a break if you are travelling long distance. Please do not stay at these stopping places for more than 24 consecutive hours. Always be fire aware. Ensure all fireplaces and barbeques are put out before you leave a rest area.
