Kintore Blow
Point of InterestDescription
Quartz outcrop near the Fire Station
It is thought that the first gold to be discovered at Cue was found on 30 to 40 metres from the Kinrade Blow. This outcrop was also the site for the first water tanks in town - however as a water scheme it wasn't very successful.
The foundation stone was laid in 1900 and is still evident today.
