This is a Free Outdoor Recreation Area. Pets are allowed. This is the start of the Wait-jen Trail which winds through the lakes to the south about 10-11km. There’s more information about it at the Apex Club Shelter, about 100m from the Highway. Another 200m brings you to Parkeyerring Lake where it’s very Sandy.
