This fun and environmentally friendly package will allow you to see Rottnest Island at your leisure with return ferry transfers and bicycle hire for a day. Departing from either Barrack Street Jetty, Perth or B Shed Victoria Quay, Fremantle, your day begins with a scenic ferry ride across to Rottnest Island. Once you get off the ferry make your way to the Pedal and Flipper shop behind Hotel Rottnest where you can line up at the priority queue making it quick and easy to get your bike. Rottnest Island is renowned as a protected nature reserve measuring 11 km in length and 4.5 km in width, and with no private vehicles, is the perfect place to explore by bike. To ride around the entire island you would need between 3-5 hours, alternatively, there are shorter routes available. Your bike hire will include a helmet and lock. The bike hire team is trained to personally fit customers to bikes to ensure optimum comfort and safety. Discover the beautiful white-sand beaches and secluded coves, rich cultural heritage and abundance of unique flora and fauna, including the island's most famous resident the adorable quokka. Bicycles must be returned to Pedal and Flipper by 5 pm. Return times are seasonal, please check the closing time when collecting your bicycle on arrival to the island.
