Sue's Bridge Campground
CampgroundDescription
Located in the Blackwood River National Park, Sues Bridge Campground has access to the Blackwood River for swimming and launching of canoes and kayaks for campers and other visitors.
Sues Bridge has an undercover shelters with gas barbeques, cold water taps (collected rainwater), dishwashing sinks, food preparation surfaces and picnic tables and benches.
Nine of the 25 individual camp sites are suitable for regular size camper trailers or caravans. The other 16 can accommodate tents and regular size campervans in an adjacent parking space.
Two of the tent sites, the toilets and the barbecue shelter have been designed for wheelchair access.
Dogs are permitted and must be on a leash at all times.
Generators are not permitted in any part of the campground.
Campfires are usually permitted, in the provided fire rings only, between April 15 and November 30 but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice. Bring your own firewood. When fire restrictions are in place campfires must not be lit and any appliance powered by burning solid fuel must not be used. Always comply with any instructions at campgrounds and parks. Campers´ own liquid or gas fuel barbeques, stoves and heaters can be used at any time, unless a total fire ban has been declared (see Department of Fire and Emergency Services).
On line bookings only.
The campground, and the whole of the South West Capes area, is very popular during school holidays and weekends from October to April, particularly public holiday weekends. Be prepared with an alternative place to stay at these times in case there is no suitable site available.
