At this free campground you may stay up to 72 hours (please note that this is for self contained visitors only (although grey water retention is not required) and there are no toilet and shower facilities available for visitors at the sporting ground - public toilets are on Absolon Street in the car park next to the Roadhouse). The community is welcoming and very small. The designated area is dog friendly and is accessible to RVs, caravans and big rigs which includes a dump point. The area is shared with the local sporting clubs who pay the utilities for their sporting grounds. Currently they are trying to fundraise for much needed maintenance. Please be kind and bring your own water and use your own facilities so the rising costs don't cripple the struggling community sporting groups. A very vibrant and friendly community embracing tourism! As this camp is free to stay, please pick up rubbish when you are on your way. Your little bit of kindness to shop in town helps little businesses grow stronger.
