Located just 75km north of Carnarvon along a bitumen road, this natural phenomenon is awe inspiring sight to see. Powerful ocean swells force water through sea caves and up out of narrow holes in the rocks, jets of water erupt into the air, sometimes to the height of 20 metres, creating a spectacular sight. Just 1km south of the Blowholes is Point Quobba, calm coral filled lagoon with fish and shells in abundance. With a white sandy beach this area is ideal for snorkeling, safe swimming. Free Camping is available at Blowholes campground. **If camping you must have a chemical toilet.** Rubbish - Please take all your rubbish away with you and dispose of it. Firewood - Firewood is available from the hardware stores in Carnarvon or at Quobba Station. Firewood cannot be collected from surrounding areas. Phone / Internet - Good signal for Telstra Networks at the Blowholes, Lighthouse and camp area. Public phones available at Quobba Station, 8km north. Boats - Beach boat ramp is available, you need a 4WD to launch and retrieve your boat. No parking on the beach. Vehicles - Vehicles are not permitted on the beach unless for the purpose of boat launching.
