This roadside rest area is located on Marble Bar Road near Newman and is accessible to vehicles travelling in both directions. it used to be a roadtrain assembly area but they’ve made a much bigger one closer to town. This is a now a much quieter spot to stay over with plenty of room Rest areas are a place where you can stop and rest, making your journey safer and more enjoyable. Rest areas are not intended for camping and stopping is NOT to exceed more than 24 consecutive hours. Facilities at this rest area include: Picnic tables and rubbish bins.
