Lake Towerrinning (Lakeside Camping)
CampgroundDescription
Lake Towerrinning is a large and beautiful semi-freshwater lake with clean sandy beaches. Nestled amid bush and farmland in the shire of West Arthur, the 265 hectare lake is perfect for waterskiing, kayaking, swimming and birdwatching.
Lakeside Camping is located on a family farm and offers 13 powered campsites on the waters edge with your own beach access and views across the lake to the surrounding hillsides.
Each site has its own beach access and wood BBQ. Easy access is provided for Caravans and Motorhomes (no need to unhitch). Acres of bushland are provided for unpowered camping with and without lake views.
There is a small on-site office/store with ice, frozen goods, ice creams, bread, milk, and other necessities.
A local store at Duranillin, 7 km north from Lakeside Camping, has rural supplies, post office, liquor and gas refills.
There is limited tank rainwater so please ensure your drinking water tanks are full prior to arrival.
