Gnylmarung
CampgroundDescription
Open only from April to mid October each year. Season ends October 6
Treat yourself to a wilderness holiday at the doorstep of nature's own retreat at Gnylmarung.
Located approximately 150 km's north of Broome, on the Middle Lagoon Road. The Gnylmarung community was established in 1995 and is situated 30 km's off the main Cape Leveque Road on the western side of the Dampier Peninsula.
It is surrounded by lush green vegetation with white sands of the coast at your doorstep.
The pristine turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean flow vibrantly into a secluded beach over looking the bay. Witness the rare beauty of an outback sunset, over the Indian Ocean, in this beautiful remote part of the Kimberley.
Would you like to spend a few days in a tranquil bush setting listening to the native birds? Perhaps you would like to do a bit of fishing or diving, from the beach or the reef where you might land a big Trevally, Spanish Flag, Perch, Mangrove Jack or Bluebone. Those who venture into deeper waters, might catch a Spanish Mackeral, Cobia, Sailfish, Coral Trout, North West Snapper or more.
Bookings are essential and must be made through our website. Payment must be made to secure a site. Campsites are limited.
