Camping season: 1 May to 30 September Fees apply and are paid in advance at the time of online booking. Off-season: 1 October to 30 April No fees apply during the off-season. Maximum length of stay is three nights per 28 days. Gnoorea Point, also known as 40 Mile, is a natural, coastal camping area. The splendour of the bay offers quality fishing and protection for those wishing to cool off in the tranquil waters. The camp area offers a natural boat ramp, public toilets for day users and sullage disposal points. NOTE there is no drinking water available on site. Drinking water is available in Karratha. Nature-based campground consisting of 134 separate campsites spread 2.5km along the coast line. Varying surfaces: 135 Sandy Surface 4WD Campers/Vans only 36 Very Soft Surface Tents/Swags/Camper 3754 Firm Sand for any vehicle 55110 Firm Ground for any vehicle 111114 Sandy Surface for any vehicle 115118 Soft Sand for any vehicle No toilets for campers, only for day users, campers must have own chemical toilet on each site as per council rules.
