Ellenbrae Station
CampgroundDescription
Ellenbrae Station covers 1 million acres in the Kimberly, Western Australia. It is approximately 230km from Kununnarra on the Gibb River Road. Predominantly a cattle station, it has become a popular stop over for tourists during the dry season.
Ellenbrae has two campsites - The Ringers' Campground and The Jackaroos' Campground.
- Ringers' camp site: Offers you the opportunity to mingle with the other campers if you wish, it is also adjacent to a billabong where campers are very welcome to swim or even do a bit of fishing.
-Jackaroos' camp site: Offers a more secluded experience from other campers in a more natural environment & only a short walk to the swimming hole.
Both campgrounds offer shady and secluded campsites surrounded by native trees, vegetation and wildlife. Uniquely designed toilet & shower facilities (built using a combination of natural bush materials). The Ringer's campground has a large communal cooking area, whereas the Jackaroo's campground has BBQ's.
