Note that users found to be misusing the reviews feature of the app may be banned from sites. ====== Within easy reach of Fortescue Falls and Fern Pool, Dales Gorge Campground is a great place from which to explore the eastern end of the Karijini National Park. Note that Circular Pool is currently closed die to a rock fall (2023). Camping fees apply. Online bookings are essential. Bookings can be made right up until the time of arrival, and tablets and WiFi for making a booking on your own mobile device are provided at the visitor centre, but beware: if you do arrive without a booking there may be no vacancies. The large camping area is divided into several loops. Bush toilets and a dump point is available. The only other campground in the park is at Karijini Eco Retreat. Sites are unpowered and suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans, motorhomes and big rigs. Online bookings are required with a choice of generator and non generator sites. There are walking trails of various lengths leading from the nearby Dales Gorge Day Use Area and Fortescue Falls car park. You can also swim in some of the pools, such as Fern Pool and Fortescue Falls. You can pick up Optus phone reception in the campground during the day time only. (No reception at night). Pets are not permitted.
