Cowalla Camping - On The Moore River
CampgroundDescription
CLOSED no longer operating as campgrounds
A unique camping spot, our property offers campsites right on the banks of the Moore River. The river runs gently through a bend near the camping area and there is some sandy and slightly sloping banks which offer a beach feel where you can relax and watch the world go by,while the kids enjoy a cool off in the water.
We have flushing toilets, dogs are welcome :-)
There is so much to see and do in the surrounding areas, with plenty of walking space available, Moore River National Park just 40 minutes drive and the beautiful coastline just 20 minutes away. Enjoy the many 4WD tracks, sandboarding, snorkeling, fishing and windsurfing all within an easy drive from the property.
We have a large fire pit available for campers to enjoy along with a BBQ area and a toilet near by so the essentials are covered. With 50 acres to choose from ,campers can park where the like and set up their camp. 300m walk from the river to camp sites in the winter months(june-august) as tracks to the river become unsuitable for vehicles and camping.
