Description

Bush Bay (wilderness camping on the coast) is located 40km south of Carnarvon and is now managed by the Shire of Carnarvon. Bush Bay has no toilet facilities. You must have a chemical toilet to stay at this site. A dump point is located near by at New Beach. Sites are unpowered and suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans, motrohomes and big rigs. Entry is via approx 8km of gravel road that can be rough at times. Take care during and after rain. There is mobile phone coverage. Camping fees apply. Visitor pressures in these areas have had a negative effect on the local environment, particularly the mangroves. Please tread lightly and take all your rubbish out with you. Dogs are permitted and must be kept on a leash at all times.
