Description

Bookings essential. $16 per night. Please email, phone or SMS to book. Thanks. Great spot to camp or rest up for a few days. Decent size bays and easily accessible by two bitumen side roads off the highway and the rear laneway - so set a fair way back from road noise. Suits fully self contained vehicles, water available though no power as yet. Site allows for two Bays maximum and is a grassed corner block with one neighbour only, and backs onto a Salmon Gum reserve. No marked bays but Bay 1 is approximately under the large Salmon Gums on property and Bay 2 is towards the front of the property. Pets welcome but please mind them at all times as there are no fences on this property as yet. There are public amenities (toilets, water, playground, rubbish bins, RV dump site) a very short walk away so all your essentials are on hand. Two sites only here and both can be pull-through bays to make it easier for larger rigs. Can access the property from all three sides (Wilson St, Alexandra St and rear laneway). A super quiet and very pretty little Wheatbelt town, full of Salmon Gums, birdlife, farming and military history and great walks. There is also a large old CBH Grain Bin across the grassland before the highway. As far as shops go - there is a post office but not much else so make sure you stock up in either Wyalkatchem, Yelbeni (great little rural store there), Trayning or Nungarin. All in all a fabulous little find. Recommend staying a couple of days to unwind, try the walk trails, spot some red tail cockatoos and explore some of the farming history here. Perfect Australian Wheatbelt rough-it stay.
