Description

Booking via Hipcamp essential. You MUST bring your own camping toilet and leave no trace. Located in the foothills of the Darling Range in Keysbrook Western Australia. This is a family run beef & sheep farm that has been in the same family since 1926. We offer campsites right on the banks of the Dirk Brook & 2 on top of the hills . To get to most campsites there is a farm track & a creek crossing Sheep & cattle graze the hill country & it's a stunning location. Red-tailed cockatoos flock to the gully feeding on redgum trees plus many other birds, the resident wedgetail eagles soar above making the most of the thermals created from the hills, also you'll see the local kangaroos if your lucky. Dogs are welcome but must remain on leads at ALL times as this is a working cattle/sheep farm. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place. ACCESS: check with us if you are not sure. We recommend 4WD or SUV. A 17ft caravan will make it up the track with slow careful driving, we dont recommend low clearance vehicles, although they will make it ok if taken slowly. All Campsites closed December to March/April
