Description

Bilyuin Pool is a permanent pool in the Murchison River, about 90 kilometres north of Meekatharra. Access is via sealed road except for the last few hundred metres from the highway. Take the Ashburton-Downs to Meekatharra rd off highway 95 to the camping area 14km from the hwy. Best camping on the far side of the pool coming from highway 95. Camping is free however there are no facilities. Campers must be self-sufficient. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace. Swimming may be possible in the wet season when water levels are high. There are no toilet facilities at this site. If you do not have your own toilet, bury human waste at least 100m from tracks and water bodies. Bury toilet paper or bag and dispose of in a bin once you leave the site. Dogs are permitted.
