2nd Campground @ Buntine Rocks
CampgroundDescription
Buntine Rock is a large granite outcrop providing spectacular views of the surrounding farming land. A great picnic site and wildflowers in season.
Free camping is available at Buntine Rocks. The 2nd campground has shade but a smaller turning circle which may be difficult for large vehicles. There are no facilities. Take all your rubbish with you and leave no trace. If you do not have your own toilet, bury human waste at least 100m from tracks, camping areas and water bodies. Bury toilet paper or bag and dispose of in a bin once you leave the site.
The entry road to Buntine Rock can be rough. Campers with caravans and large vehicles are more suited to the 1st and 2nd camping areas.
(Note: The current title picture is of the rock area not of this campsite.)
