No access atm due to the recent water flood for maybe 2weeks... been driving 400kms to see such a disappointment.

We did the hike in 3h to southpoint and 4h back to telegraph saddle carpark so it is doable as a daytrip but be prepared the last 2km back are the worst... take plenty of water with you.

We completed this 32km return hike in one day. It took us 3 hours to get there and 3.5 hours to get back. We started at 6am in the morning. Make sure you wear good shoes and be sun smart. We started at the Telegraph Saddle Carpark and took the service road to Roaring Meg. The service road has gradual inclines as well as very flat parts, we would say it was quite easy. We then started from Roaring Meg, the South Point hike, it turns into an actual bush walk that is rocky with steeper inclines, steps, slippery sections and creek crossings and this goes for approx 3.6km. Great hike!
