RSL Memorial Gardens & Tram

Description
The Terang RSL Club has created a small memorial garden to the fallen soldiers, nurses, and animals from all wars.
There is an old Melbourne tram which you can view. It's an example of the trams soldiers would have used when they went to Melbourne to enlist. Trams were also used to recruit members of the public by having recruitment centres on board the trams. This tram has a replica recruitment centre.
Terang RSL is not owned by RSLVIC but 1 of a very small number of clubs in Victoria owned by the local members.
They do not have pokies or cater for meals but have a vast collection of military memorabilia dedicated to members of the local community who answered the call during times of conflict.
The complex is open most Wednesdays 9am till 3pm or the 1st Saturday of each month.
Entry is free, a donation would be appreciated.
