Gary at the Nelson Information Centre is very knowledgeable and able to set you up with things to see/do if you are heading east into SA or travelling further west. Thank you Shrimpy The ManintheBlackVan Retired van-lifer

We came to stay with family in thus lovely little town of Nelson. We decided to go out for Lunch for my family members birthday, we booked a table. On arrival we found our table, got some drinks. Then went and ordered our meals, only 5 people on the table. The 1st person got there meal, then the next 3 got there meal. Hubby and I waited, waited. The others on the table had nearly finished eating. I then went to ask about our meal. They had given our order to someone else. The Cook then said I could wait 15min for him to cook it. Ask for our money back. Hubby then came over to get our refund. Spoke to the Cook, said the service was not good enought. Was then told What was he going to do about it. Very rude. Got our money back. Very Bad customer service by the Cook. Thank Other Staff.

Don't understand why this shop is still shut. Every other shop in regional Victoria is open with physical distancing applied. Couldn't spend any money in Nelson as everything was shut. According to the Visitor centre the cruises aren't operating because there is a bend in the river that crosses in and then out of the SA border! Yet you can't disembark from the boat at the bend, And if you have your own boat you can tour the river as far up as you like! (No water police waiting to stop you!!!)
