Panoramic view from summit standing where Major Mitchell stood as the 1st European to climb the hill he named in 30th June 1836. Suggest don't attempt to climb beyond the 1st stage unless one is wearing suitable footwear, physically fit, have good balance and agility. If you have these I recommend the climb as very rewarding - follow arrows painted on boulders. The lookout at end of 1st stage of climb is also worthwhile and via a well made pathway.

If you light a fire in the fire place here please, pretty please, PUT IT OUT when you leave. Passed by a van coming down the hill as we were going up and found the fire blazing unattended in the hut. Use some sense people.
