Description

Beautiful freshwater lake, named after Captain Marshall McDermott, who arrived in the Swan River colony in June 1831. Extensive parking and camping ground. Unmarked walks around the lake. Easy access for caravans, motorhomes and camping trailers. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace. BYO firewood. There are no toilet facilities at this site. If you do not have your own toilet, bury human waste at least 100m from tracks and water bodies. Bury toilet paper or bag and dispose of in a bin once you leave the site.
