Description

Murrayville is a small town with a community ran caravan park. bookings non essential for powered and unpowered sites and cabins can be arranged prior to date. This community managed, non for profit, caravan park offers; toilets, showers, laundry, summer swimming pool, power hookups & a dump point. honesty box system for powered and unpowered sites (envelopes and gues book located in the laundry and honesty box located next to the laundry) eft, direct debit and invoicing is available by request for cabins and powered sites. It is pet friendly all year round (excluding the cabins). It is accessible to motorbikes, RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs. Camping in tents is allowed. The park has 2 comfortable self contained cabins and 2 mini cabins- cabin configurations are; cabin 1; 1 queen bed, 4 single beds (2 bunks) ensuite cabins 2; 1 queen bed, 2 single beds (1 bunk), disability accessible ramp and ensuite bathroom mini cabin 3 and 4; 1 double bed, mini fridge and tv, shared amenities The park has no on site staff but our caretaker, when available, is only 5 minutes away should you need assistance. The caretaker can be contacted by phone daily, seven days a week. if there is no answer, call back shortly or leaving a return number is appreciated! Food and drinks around Murrayville are easy to come by, museum op shop cafe, Cobb and co cafe (under new management) and the local watering hole. ideal scenic itinerary ideas; breakfast at op shop cafe then 4x4 drive to ‘Big Billy’ look out (no service, has shared amenities and fire pits including bbq plates) lunch at Cobb and co cafe then short drive to ‘pink lakes’ in Linga (the brighter the sun the more pink they will look) then arriving home by dinner service to walk down the hill to the pub. after dinner; drinks around the parks communal fire pit. this should set you up for a good nights sleep! we hope you enjoy your stay, be sure to leave a comment in our guest book (located in the laundry)
