Pull off the main road of Maldon, into Hospital Street, and there at the base of Mt Tarrengower is the entrance to Maldon Caravan Park you have arrived at your holiday resting place. This is where your relaxing holiday starts with fresh and cosy accommodation; bushland, the chirping of native birds; immerse yourself in the bush atmosphere of the central Victorian goldfields. Your hosts, welcome you to their caravan park. Our park is your perfect holiday accommodation, set in a bush atmosphere, offering a real Aussie goldfields holiday experience. Our caravan park in Maldon is a tourist only park (no residents), offering self-contained accommodation in cabins, sleeping from 2 to 4 with their own kitchenette, TV and modern split system air-conditioning (heating and cooling), all but the budget cabin are en-suited, as well as powered (RV's and Caravan's) and un-powered camp sites (RV's, Caravan's and Tent's). We value providing a peaceful, clean, friendly environment, based within Australia's first Notable town (first heritage listed town) in the heart of the Victorian Goldfields, dating back to the 1850's gold rush. A great central base to explore Maldon and the surrounding region from. The park is just a short stroll from the centre of the Heritage listed township, allowing easy access to the heart of Maldon and its surround's. The amenities contain generous showers and toilets with a fully equipped laundry. Enjoy an Aussie barbeque in our free undercover camp kitchens. Maldon and surrounds has so much goldfield's history to explore, as well as events, bush walking, mountain bike riding and just simply relaxing. Our camping sites at Maldon Caravan Park are pet friendly off peak (Conditions apply, please call for further details), so everyone can enjoy the holiday break.

Maldon Caravan Park

We rang LesleyHoy after having our issue with our phones resolved, advising that unfortunately we had phone issues out of our control, we also advised we were available from checkin time (there is a sign on the office showing checkin time and that our office is unmanned), we did check cameras and noticed someone two hours prior to checkin, we weren't around the office area at this time but were out cleaning ammenities (one of the tasks we need to do prior to checkin). We note there was no attempt to call us when in the park. It is unfortunate that due to circumstances outside our control we missed LesleyHoy.

So disappointed in this park. Rang to make a booking for 2 nights and no answer. Left a message for a return call. No reply so rang the next day and the same. On the day dropped in to take a chance if someone was there. No-one in reception. No-one in sight. Called out but no answer. Left and went to Castlemaine caravan park.

Pleasant place to stay, very convenient to town. Amenities were old but clean and OK to use. Staff were helpful, if a bit difficult to find. An enjoyable stay in a place where there is heaps to see
