Description
Hello we are new management of this absolute Waterfront Holiday Park, as of the 1 July 2019 we have been and are continuing the clean up and renovations. We have approximately 30 camp sites with NO permanent living the owners of the onsite vans are allowed 90 days (non continuous) stays per year. We love the nature of this park and are very much looking forward to making Lake King Waterfront Caravan Park a place where everyone wants to visit. Hope to see you soon.
This cosy little holiday park lies on the shore of Lake King at Eagle Point, central to the Gippsland Lakes region in Victoria, Australia, around 3 and a half hours drive from Melbourne and around 5 hours from Canberra. Very close by are the Mitchell River and Silt Jetties - the second largest in the world - and the Tambo and Nicholson Rivers which all flow into Lake King and are easily accessible by boat. McMillan Straight of Paynesville ('the boating capital of Victoria') and Raymond Island and also Lake Victoria are just around the corner. The surf beach of Ocean Grange on the 90 Mile Beach is also a short boat ride away.
The Park is a 10 minute drive from Bairnsdale, off the Paynesville Road, and within 5 minutes drive from Paynesville for supermarkets, local cafesand take-away. You can catch the ferry which leaves regularly for Raymond Island, one of the state's most populated Koala reserves. The Lakes and rivers are well suited for cruising, sailing, swimming, fishing, jet-skiing, water-skiing, wakeboarding, parasailing, windsurfing, kayaking....
The Park is in the perfect location for you to relax by the water or go out and explore the many gems the region has to offer.

Chappo and Kay
We have just spent 3 nights with Kym and Bill at Lake King. Although we hadn't been there before, the changes from the photographs that they have made since taking over are excellent. We were extremely lucky as all of the nomads that headed north for winter were copping rain and cold weather where as we were predominately dry and warm around the complimentary Fire Drum. We had to pay for the wood, but that's OK. Keep up the improvements guys, you are doing a great job.
