Very friendly staff, went out of their way to help, tolerant of my ranting about traffic en-route. Sites are acceptable, but showing their age a little, but none the less functional. Site is a little slice of the deep bush with clear river and abundant wildlife. Suspension bridge out back over river leading to bushwalk. Popular place and I can see why. Edit: also discovered shower heads are detachable with hose. First time I have seen these at a campsite - extremely welcome. Also carry a torch if you take your time like me as auto lights turn off after time.

Popped in for 2 nights after finding the free camping in the area was full. They were full at the time (sites that you wouldn't get bogged in) but setup a space for us to stay just outside the normal park area. Very accomodating, very lovely staff. I see people have scoffed at the price however $45 a night for my wife and I plus 4 kids is a bargain, also they were full at that price (supply vs demand) Other bigger parks may have flasher facility's and more of them, but they also aren't as beautiful, can't have it both ways. Will defiantly refer to friends and family. Optus coverage was all good there also.
