Description

Located in Lowe Street, Avon Park is a large grassed area which runs alongside the Avon River. There are free electric BBQ facilities with picnic tables and seating, toilets & a Nature Play playground area and Skate Park. On the North side of the park there is the Swinging Bridge which crosses the river and is a popular viewing spot for many tourists. The rotunda located by the Swinging Bridge is the trail head for the Avon River Walk Trail. No camping or overnight parking.
