Description

A walkway starts off at the end of Flora st Mount Perry, follow the ramp with stairs which will lead to the top of the slag heap where you can walk around. In the middle of the slag heap is a shelter with picnic tables and information boards providing some information about the smelter site. The slag heap itself is a by-product of copper production from copper ore, melted and re-solidified. The end result is tile like pavers that look like they have been layed there on purpose.
