Lovely spot. Flat areas and can choose shade or open for Solar. Plenty of fire wood to collect West of the Ferry. Ferry can be a little noisy first thing in the morning but didn't worry us. Toilets near by are currently locked presumably due to Covid. Short drive into town if you need a toilet. Dump site and drinking water available in town also. We spent 4 nights and only had 1 night with other campers. Plenty of room for caravans.

Spent one night here recently to visit our son(who runs the car ferry). Have camped here before during COVID between lockdowns . Great camp , especially for us . We can camp here & not cross the border but still see our son , who actually lives on the NSW side of the river .

1 night with van. Nice spot under shade with no one else about except 3 blokes fishing off the bank next to us, it was Sat. arvo + night. Short run to town, 12km. Toilets locked. Spoke with ferryman, nice chap. This campsite is east of the ferry, Wiki shows west.
