This is an awesome place to camp. We had the whole place to ourselves for a couple of days. The reviews are not good and the 3.5t weight limit sign at the entry bridge most likely put everyone off with a caravan. We met a local couple on the way in and they told us that 10t fire trucks go over this bridge so we took our 6t off-road rig over, no problem. It's a hidden gem this site, if you can be bothered driving the 8 km in over crappy dusty tracks, then do it! You won't be disappointed. One thing though, very weak Telstra signal, no Optus at all and no TV reception.

Long track in. West facing beach, very hot location not much shade, river has strong fast current here.
