The Princetown Recreation Reserve is located 6km's east of the 12 Apostles, adjacent the Gellibrand River, the closest campsite to the 12 Apostles. Office is shut at 5pm The Princetown Recreation Reserve and Camping is dog-friendly year-round and camp fires are allowed in approved fire bins. Please see dog and fire policy for details. Dogs are allowed in within the Recreation Reserve when walked on a lead and kept at owners camp but they are not allowed on the beach. Caravan owners are obliged to have a smoke detector installed and maintained. Mobs of kangaroos are spotted grazing within the reserve and its surrounds most times of the year.
