Plantation Campground is set within an old Radiata Pine forest on the eastern edge of the Mount Difficult Range. This campground is located close to Halls Gap, Heatherlie Quarry and an easy drive to walks, picnic areas and Aboriginal rock art in the Northern Grampians. It is located 9.5km north of Halls Gap on Mt Zero Road; this road is unsealed and suitable for two wheel drive vehicles. Don't turn into Pines road as google tells you. The entry is a further 30metres along the main road. No booking or payment is required at this campground. This campground operates on a first in, first served basis. There are 30 campsites at Plantation Campground. These sites cater for tent-based camping, caravans, campervans and camper trailers. Each site at Plantation Campground accommodates a maximum of 6 people. Sites are unpowered. There are three larger sites around the outside that suit groups with a few vehicles. Larger tent camping groups are well catered for within the main loop still near vehicles if desired. Facilities include; Non-flush toilets, bush showers, shared fireplaces and shared picnic tables. No drinking water supplied; limited non-potable water may be available from a seasonal rainwater tank and creek-fed campground taps. There is no rubbish collection at this campground, please take all rubbish with you. Campfires are only allowed in designated fireplaces - supply your own wood. During summer and autumn Total Fire Bans are common - this means no open fires can be lit. For information on Total Fire Bans call the Victorian Bushfire Information Line on 1800 240 667
