We are the only cherry stop on the Midland Highway between Launceston and Hobart so come and enjoy our property in the heart of Tasmania and sample our delicious cherries it will be a highlight of your summer in Tasmania! Our range of Jams, sauces and chutneys, all made with fruit from our orchard. Using traditional recipes, the preserves are made from whole fruit with no added preservatives. , are available and are ideal as a gift or tasty momento of your visit to Somercotes. Our Farmgate Cafe is open from Boxing Day until the end of the cherry season, so you can stop in an enjoy some coffee, house-made scones, muffins, cheesecake or Van Diemans Creamery ice cream.
