Old Osmiridium mining town. 2 huts remain (one being restored). Nice creek with tree bridge. Boom gate to huts 600m. 17km on very good unsealed road through forest. Previously marked as campground now only for tents unless in possession of key - obtainable from Mt Field Visitors Center 03 6288 1149 for deposit)
