Description

Free access to a 704m disused railway tunnel. Park on Tunnel Station Rd at the old railway crossing. Walk north-east 200m along the railway line to the tunnel entrance. Advised to wear shoes that you won't mind getting wet and muddy, and take a torch if you want to walk the entire length. Although it can be wet under foot due to natural runoff, the track itself is in excellent condition. There are NO bats in the tunnel. Roads well-maintained gravel.
