From 9th April till 3rd May 2024 this campsite is not open. You must be fully self contained at this site. Pine Ridge is a 25 Hectare Private property that has been developed as a natural parkland. It consists of mature trees and native grasses where the low scrub has been cleared for ease of use and safety. A large mature dam exists which has a small jetty to make swimming easier. There is a community covered area with a stone barbeque nearby. his property offers good protection from the wind. There are large areas of flat and firm ground for larger caravans and medium and small campers can find many nice locations closer to the water. The upper flat areas also have ocean views. The property has a capacity that I restrict to 10 units at present although there is probably space for 50 but I do not want to cram the area and spoil the experience. The site is listed with Hipcamp which at the moment is my preferred system of booking as they provide insurance and convenient payment and booking system. If you try to ring me with no luck, there is always room available if you are stuck, even though I only list 10 places. Optus is available on the main drive areas with ocean views. Telstra is patchy at best at the moment. The grassed area between the hut and the water is not for camping. It is community common area, and sensitive to damage. There are camp fire areas and bags of wood are available at $15 per bag. Fire usage depends of the local regulation at the time and is always subject to change.
