Description

Camping locations are limited within the reserve due to the narrow section of land between the lagoon and the reserve boundary in most areas. Campers are encouraged to use the Freycinet National Park for camping rather than the reserve. A low key camping area has been constructed in the reserve south of the Kittys Mistake carpark off the Coles Bay Road. Fireplaces have been established at this site but no other facilities, such as toilets, are provided. The carpark at Top Bank and an area on River and Rocks Road are both places sometimes used for camping.
